30 THINGS I HAVE LEARNT IN 30 YEARS

 1.    Get saved early.

 2.      Be deliberate about everything you do.

 3.      Pray regularly. Prayer is like the staring wheel not the spare tyre.

 4.    Recognise the voice and leading of the Holy Spirit as distinct from your own mind. He is the 6^th sense.

5.      A closed mouth is a closed destiny, never underestimate the power of your words.

6.      Be holy. Choose to honour God than to impress people.

7.      Be confident at all times.

8.      Have your purpose defined.

9.      Give to servants of God – your spiritual leaders.

10.   Have a support list and seek to grow it yearly.

11.   Do not expect material gifts from your spiritual leaders, it is a breach of biblical principle.

12.   A life changing decision may alter your view of life for bad. Adaptability is key.

13.   Work hard, work smart.

14.   When we die, we rest.

    

15.   Always strive to make your supervisor’s work easy. It works every time.

16.   Majority are over qualified for what you want in life, learn to appropriate grace.

17.   Why leave till tomorrow what you can do today?

18.   If you must wait for a job, go to school or learn a craft in the meantime, even if you have to borrow for tuition.
19.   Strive to read more and add to your knowledge.

20.   Do not be a person of too many things. 

21.   Go on a personal retreat at least 2 times in a year if possible 4 times. Each at a minimum of 5 days.

22.   There is always a place called ‘better’ and another place called ‘forward’.

23.   Age is truly nothing but a number. So keep your eyes on God and not the calendar.

24.   Never compare your successes with anyone's, especially not with that of your siblings.

25.   Eat healthy and you will not rush to your grave.

26.   Live close to either of these 2 places – your church or your office.

27.   A man can get married to any woman, it all depends on where he is headed.

28.   Have that 1 friend with whom you can laugh anytime about anything.

29.   Have friends who are secure.

30.   Whatever you struggle to manage, give it to God, even people.
